Space Mutation, 2019

The series “Space Mutation” (2019) shows spaces that lose their rules and bring forth new orders in doing so. Figure, object and environment merge into one another, as if the space itself were being rebuilt and rewritten. Fineliner produces a precise, nervous topography of lines, points and densities that read like measurement traces. Mutation here is a principle rather than an effect: reality stays fluid, and every image is another possibility.
