Time Machines, 2017-2018

In the series “Time Machines” (2017–2018), drawing becomes a cartography of duration. The line works as a trace, not as decor: it scans the space, repeats, shifts and condenses until movement becomes visible. Between organic forms, technical suggestions and coloured markings, a field of signs takes shape that acts like a model for inner and outer worlds. The longer one looks, the clearer it becomes that this is about a state rather than a motif: time depositing itself in space as an enigmatic fabric.
