Time Machines, 2015-2017

The series “Time Machines” (2015–2017) works with the idea that time settles in space like sediment. Lines, loops and technical impressions form a structure of traces, measurements and repetitions, not a narrative. Colours set markings like signals, while the image field condenses and stays open at the same time. The space depicts nothing; it makes visible how duration takes form.
